I have dedicated my life to the evolving craft of filmmaking which in return has allowed me to travel the world with a camera.
My work has been trusted by Olympians, Professional Athletes, A-List Celebrities, Fortune 500 Companies, and many more.
Throughout the years I have had the privilege to win a handful of awards and meet countless of inspirational people.
However, none of that would matter without a story to believe in and a clientele to trust me to bring that story to life.
I’m Justin, and my livelihood revolves around telling stories.
They say luck is when preparation meets opportunity.
Well, please allow me to share my story of luck with you.
I believe I was born to hold a camera in my hands.
In fact, when I was kid on Christmas morning,
I was much more fascinated about the VHS camera my dad held than any present that Santa would bring me…
And I loved Santa Claus.
My curiosity got the best of me at an early age and led me down a path to become a filmmaker and storyteller.
As someone who wears his heart on his sleeve, I tend to align with people who desire to create honest work.
My clients and I have a mutual understanding that to reach your target audience we will do so with an authentic and holistic approach.
One of my greatest strengths is to understand, implement, and creatively bring a brand’s identity to life through film.
In doing so, my clients have asked me to wear many hats.
I feel most comfortable when I am the Director, Director of Photography, and/or Editor.
As a team player, I am happy to put the story and my client’s needs first, regardless of what position I have been hired for.
This curiosity, honesty, and tenacity of mine has truly led me to some of life’s most remarkable opportunities and experiences.
I’ve been trusted with a camera in some of the most technical and challenging locations known to man.
Anywhere from icy Olympic halfpipes to chasing speed boats to off the grid backcountry trails to controlled studio shoots,
I have gained a plethora of experiences paired with a laughable amount of tales.
I’ve learned over the years that my extroverted-self loves the hustle and bustle of adventure, travel, and shoots. I’ve also obtained insight that my introverted-self loves the calming routine of being in the studio obsessing over the perfect pour over, tuning the cut, and investing in my community.
One of the many lessons COVID-19 has taught me is the importance of prioritizing my health.
When I have a healthy heart, I create healthy art.
I thoroughly enjoy riding mountain bikes, snowboarding, running and more recently I am learning how to surf.
I’m currently local to Knoxville, Tennessee, but my work has taken me all across the world and I am currently taking on projects worldwide.
I’m typically hired as a Director, DP, and/or Editor but have the resources and network to outsource my own crew for pre, pro, and post production services making it easier on you, the client.
